we headed to see my parents last weekend and had such a great time. we left fayetteville around noon and got to arkadelphia fairly early. we had planned on surprising my mom at work, but as it turns out, she skipped out a little early to get things ready, shucks.we went to my dad's office to give him a few kisses and sallie had the biggest time running up and down the long hallway. then we headed to my grandmother's house for more hugs. sallie was super excited to see her and even calls her by her name.....mamou (which is actally, mamaw but i am trying to spell it the way she says it)
after sallie's nap on saturday we drove over to hot springs for a visit to mid america museum. i remember going there as a kid and it was still just as neat. it really wasn't busy at all so it was a great time for sallie to explore. she loved the floating ball, the musical poles, and the shadow wall. they had something new from the last time i was there, the cave exhibit. i am so proud of myself for going through it, my claustrophobia was kicking in a little.
we went to church on sunday and sallie went to the nursery to play with the little ones. she had some fun swinging out on the playground and then walked home with pap. she was so worn out, she feel asleep before we made it to caddo valley, but she certainly enjoyed her weekend and so did mom and dad. thanks gg and pap for making it so fun!
