Easter 2010

chocolate for breakfast

We spent this Easter in Kansas with the Morris family. It was absolutely perfect.....beautiful weather, yummy food, relaxing day, and the Easter Bunny new where to find us. We woke up at MiMi and Papa's on Easter morning and Sallie found a Easter basket full of goodies and eggs hidden throughout the house. It took her a little while, but she started to figure out what she needed to do.....find the egg, get it, open it, throw it on the floor, and put the candy in the basket. (we will work on that for next year, b/c it really slows us down).

We then drove over to Wichita for a beautiful Easter Service at Chapel Hill. (we sure enjoy visiting there when we are in town.....this is where Rich's sisters attend, and we love it) After church, we headed to the Hinz home where everything was decorated beautifully, the smell of lunch greeted us as we walked in, and there were even bubbles in the back yard for the kiddos. (Jen always makes it so nice) We enjoyed a delicious lunch out on the back patio, had two egg hunts (one for Coleman and Austin and one for the girls), just had fun visiting. The afternoon seemed to fly by and before we knew it, it was 5pm....time to pack up for the drive home. It was a little ( a lot) windy after church, so I don't think we even got a family picture but here a few pictures of our Easter Sunday 2010!!
