today you turned a whole two years! where in the world does the time go? it seems like just yesterday we were driving her home from the hospital. and today, 2 years old, a brand new school, lots of words to share, and a smile that makes my heart melt, wow!!!
sallie headed to her fourth day at her brand new school.....which she loves! we all drove to work and school together and promised her that we would go get "nuggets" at chick fil after school.
we headed straight there and after a yummy dinner, we played in the play area for about 15 minutes. unfortunately there were some "kids" that were not sliding down like they should, sallie started crying, and mommy decided we needed to leave quickly before daddy pounced on the toddler that was mimicking sallie....yikes!
we decided a little time at wilson park would be the perfect end to a special day, and it was. we just love our little girl, not just because she is our little girl, but because:
she says bless you anytime she hears someone sneeze
she says thank you when you give her something she wants
she says "sowy" really fast when daddy trips over her toys
she loves tinkerbelle, rella, and polly pocket and will sit for hours dressing (well actually I do the dressing) but undressing them
she can name every character on the mickey mouse shows and can tell you what is about to happen on many of the episodes
she loves to sing "you are my sunshine"
she puts her hands together when we pray before dinner and shouts "amen"
she remembers just about everything you tell her
she can watch nemo for hours and hours and laughs at the same part every time....calling it "her part"
if you ask her what she is doing she quickly responds...."somtin"
if something breaks, she immediately says "daddy fix it"
and then she says "i help you daddy" when he tries to fix it
she loves to follow directions like put this in the trash, put your toys away and go get a diaper
she repeats everything you say
if you ask her what is needed from the store she will always say the same things: nuggets, cheese, and milk
she gives the best smile...especially when she hasn't seen you in a while
happy 2nd birthday sallie!
