what a fun weekend we had with my brother and his family. they drove down from Derby, Kansas to spend a few days with us. they arrived on Friday and we just hung out at the house. my mom drove up the next day to meet us for a visit with the easter bunny, lunch at chick fil a (annie always loves to go when she is here b/c they don't have one in Derby), and shopping at the mall. we thought about doing a little skating but we were so worn out from chasing the kiddos around the mall, we decided the ride in the ice cream truck (that we even put money in) was fun enough! we enjoyed dinner and games later on that night and watched the snow fall to the ground. upon waking the next morning, we realized we got over 10 inches.......happy spring break guys :-) thankfully they were able to make it home safely. we are so glad they came to spend time with us.
