very happy mother's day

as i sit here at the end of this amazing day, i can't help to get tears in my eyes. mother's day has always been special. i have such a great mom and mother in law. they have taught me so much and continue to teach me each and every day. but now, being a mother myself..........i realize how blessed i am. i have a beautiful family with a husband and a daughter that i love more than anything. and this day is extremely special now, because i truly realize who my mom is and what she has done for me and how much she loves me.....even when i was going through those terrible teenage years and wasn't very nice back. i now know that love of a child that will never stop, no matter what.

i am so thankful for my mom, my mother in law, and my family. i am so thankful i am a mom to such a special gift from God and i am reminded today that how much of a gift motherhood is. i love being a mom, more than i ever thought i would. thank you rich and sallie for making this day so special.

i woke up to mcdonalds in bed watching mickey mouse clubhouse and was given this beautiful handmade card, flowers from our rosebush and a flower made by sallie at mothers day out (she traced her hands to make the petals) i know that was special because she can't stand for me to trace her fingers. :-) we had a relaxing lunch at home after church. after nap time, we headed to the mall and enjoyed chips and salsa at mariachis. what a fun day!!
