happy fall

sallie had so much fun just playing outside....i thought this picture was pretty neat because she is in the same ravine i grew up playing in, going on hikes with my sack lunch, playing cops and robbers.....i have some good memories in that ravine. i mean wouldn't dare let her go in there by herself, but i sure had fun in it!

gg did most of the work as you can see, sallie just played with stickers and i just took pictures

one of my best friends from high school, had invited us a few times to their pumpkin patch for their "fall party". so, this year, i decided to buckle sallie in the car on saturday and head to arkadelphia so we could all go to the pumpkin patch on sunday.

we had such a fun day on saturday, mom and i got to do some shopping, and sallie rode to arkadelphia with my dad! after church and quick bite at the yummy mexican restaurant there in town, we headed to lonoke to hunt for some pumpkins.

little did i know.....this was a huge deal! (which i am not sure why it wouldn't have been, jill never does anything halfway) there were over a hundred people at the fletcher farm! they had hot dogs (sallie ate 2), lemonade, cookies, bails of hay to jump in, pictures with an adorable back drop, hay rides, and pickin of all the pumpkins you could fit in your car. we rode out to the patch, picked several pumpkins, and put a sticky note on them with our name so we wouldn't get them mixed up with others there. sallie had a blast! however, she did seem to have more fun eating and putting on and removing the stickers from the pumpkins.

we stayed much later than we had planned but it was so worth it! we have plenty of pumpkins for decorating and it certainly put me in the fall spirit.
