our little bug turns 1

What a fun party!! We celebrated Sallie's very first birthday at our home and had the most wonderful time! We have an amazing family and some really special friends that have been such an important part of Sallie's life and we were thankful many of them were able to be with us on Saturday as we celebrated. Lots of fun, pappy the balloon guy, lady bug toss (made special by dad), pap on the grill making some yummy dogs, Memaw painting faces, GG's famous fruit salad, smiles, laughs, and wonderful gifts. What more could a one year old ask for? Oh, yah, cake! She loved it and dug right in squishing it around in her hands and then offering it to others. We let her just stand up and eat it at her pint sized table and she thought she was pretty "hot" stuff. She had red and black icing from head to toe, thankfully we were outside and we were able to hose her down right there at the faucet.

Sallie really does love people so she had the best time, running around with all the kiddos, opening presents, getting a lady bug painted on her face, being held by so many that love her. She really is blessed to have such special people in her life, thank you to all of our family and friends that love her.
